Responsible gaming

Gaming should be a paid-for bit of fun, not a way to make money. These habits help keep it that way.
Good habits
Before you play
- Set a budget. Decide how much you can afford to lose before you start, and stop when it's gone.
- Set a time limit. Use a phone alarm. Long sessions make it easy to lose track.
- Take breaks. Step away after a big win or a loss, and don't play when tired, upset or after drinking.
- Don't chase losses. Trying to win back money usually leads to losing more.
- Keep it separate. Never use money meant for rent, bills, food or family.
- Use account tools. If your JDL688 account offers limits or a break option, use them. Ask through the help option in the lobby.
Warning signs
Signs it's stopped being fun
- You spend more money or time than you planned, again and again.
- You borrow, sell things or skip bills to keep playing.
- You hide your play from family or friends.
- You feel restless or irritable when you try to stop.
Getting help
If you need help
Talk to someone you trust, such as family, a friend or your doctor. A counsellor or a local support service can also help you make a plan. If you feel unsafe or in crisis, contact local emergency services straight away.
